Gabriel Faure (1845-1924) is arguably one of the world's most lyrical and expressive composers. This album is a collection of eight of his most well-known works including transcriptions of both vocal and instrumental pieces. The aim of this volume is to provide clarinettists with the opportunity of playing on an instrument which is capable of doing justice to his expressive melodic lines.
