This three-movement suite for a traditional woodwind quintet was completed in 1991 for the Ars Nova Quintet at James Madison University. The genesis of the piece comes from the use of quartal and quintal harmony. 1st Movement : Frolic, 2nd : Song, 3rd : Rondo.
