This extraordinary biography tells how Jessica Ellen Cornish from Ilford in north east London overcame being 'not really that good at anything' to reinvent herself as Jessie J and record one of the biggest selling albums of 2011.

Success came in the face of extraordinary setbacks. Childhood bullying, an irregular heartbeat, a serious fall from the stage and a minor stroke at the age of 18 all threatened the health and career of the BRIT school student who first pursued fame through dance and the musical theatre.

An ill-fated stint in a girl group was followed by a solo record deal that almost immediately went bust. As an unknown support act Jessie J was often booed off the stage, but despite ill-health and career setbacks, she proved unstoppable.
