Pulitzer-Prize winner Karel Husa has adapted his Élégie, originally for piano, into a percussion duo, scored for vibraphone (doubling suspended cymbal, gong, and tubular bell) and marimba. Husa’s dramatic and inventive ear adds exciting dimensions to the sonorous world of percussion duo repertoire.
