"This is an excellent collection for our adult mixed ability recorder group, some of whom are complete beginners, as it serves not only those players who have a range of one and a half octaves, but also those who can only play two notes, G and A. Each part has rhythmical interest and everybody loves to play the arrangements. It provides a good foundation for those transferring to treble and tenor and there is plenty for descants to get their teeth into. There are indications for breathing, and great dynamic markings to work at. We played the Christmas songs at our Christmas concert and now polishing all the rest of the songs in the book!"
