2 Flutes, 2 Oboes, Cor Anglais (optional), 2 Clarinets in Bb, 2 Bassoons
4 Horns in F, 2 Trumpets in Bb, 3 Trombones, Tuba, Timpani, Harp

This famous aria can be performed by orchestra with almost any solo instrument or voice. The orchestral parts are only mildly altered from Puccini's original. In the original there were one or two additional instruments which have been omitted in this version (piccolo (last 4 bars), bass clarinet, contrabassoon, celeste, chinese gong (1 note), bass drum (2 notes)). A brief entry by the chorus is given to Oboe 1 and Horn 3 in this version (bars 22-25). The harp is preferable but not essential. A separate voice part is not provided; singers should use whatever edition of the opera vocal score or the aria that they have.

A PACK comprises one full score, string parts 4/4/3/4/2 and any wind, brass and percussion parts.
