Old story, new songs, great music, lots of fun.

Maybe It's A Baby! is a musical Nativity Play based on the traditional Christmas story. Children as young as foundation age will love the catchy tunes and easy to learn words, while older children will enjoy the humorous script as well as the original words and music.

The story is told through dialogue and simple acting, with nine lively songs for everyone to sing. These cover a range of styles including blues, rock 'n' roll and boogie woogie and there is plenty of scope for inventive sound effects, clapping, and percussion.

Some of the numbers lend themselves to dancing while singing, and the finale is a lively rock 'n' roll number which invites everyone to sing and dance (including the audience!) resulting in a huge celebration of the birth of Jesus.

Maybe It's A Baby! is suitable for a large or small cast, with parts for everyone, ranging from main character parts to chorus (angels, shepherds, stars, musicians). It is enormous fun for children, teachers and the audience.
