Jason Rebello is a British born jazz pianist and composer. He was classically trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. His career currently spans about 25 years. He has recorded six of his own albums and played for six years with Sting and another six years with guitarist Jeff Beck, recording several grammy winning albums. He lives near Bath now and teaches and plays jazz.

The piece integration was written for the Equivox Trio, (Saxophonist Rob Buckland, Pianist Peter Lawson, and his cousin, percussionist Simone Rebello). It embraces elements of jazz into a 'classical' framework and shows how the boundaries between the various styles of music are becoming less and less definite, which gives us the opportunity to integrate genres that may previously have not been. Hence the title, integration. Recorded by the Equivox Trio on their CD 'The Time Is Now'.
