Composer's Notes
Lullaby fo Nick was the first piec I ever finished as a little girl. I always had to play it for the guests who came to dinner. During that period I lived in Russia and there are echoes of my childhood in the piece as well as the strong sense of Russian melancholy. Years later, I played it to my children. My youngest son Nick took a special liking to it. I wrote it down in 2012.
