Looking Ahead: UK premiere of Big Rhap by City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (17 Oct); children’s opera for the Komische Oper in Berlin, Jim Knopf and Lukas the Engine Driver, based on the award-winning book by Michael Ende (3 Nov); her version of The Wind in the Willows, the first opera based on the book, receives its world premiere at Staatstheater Kassel (June 2020)
