Two flutes among themselves. Here they are allowed to argue, scold, talk – in crazy, Bartokian dances, then in a confidential conversation. Keen to experiment, the composer Iris ter Schiphorst, a professor of media composition (University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna) among other things, uses a variety of playing techniques in this fast-paced "suite", from "ugly" splitting sounds to additional, sung lines. The performers cannot hide behind the notes, in played and spoken passages they address the audience directly. But this is not the only reason that the audience will no doubt be eager to follow the composition: virtuoso experimental passages alternate with mysteriously floating sound scenes.
