A gospel hymn commissioned for the Littleton (Colorado) Children's Chorale in the spring of 1996. The poem was written by Albert Midlane, who was an ironmonger on the Island of Wight who wrote over 800 hymns during his lifetime. The compound meter of the melody should be sung in an easy "groove," typical of gospel style. For treble voices in two parts (SS).
