Founded in 1995 The Benedictines of Mary are a young, contemplative and extremely musical monastic order of Sisters. They live a joyful life set apart from the world and sing together eight times a day, chanting the Divine Office in Latin as part of their monastic schedule. ‘Angels and Saints’ is their second release after ‘Advent,’ featuring 17 English and Latin pieces sung a capella on the feasts of the Holy Saints and Angels throughout the year at the Priory (their home) in the heart of America. It stormed to No.1 as Amazon’s overall best seller in music, ahead of Kanye West, Daft Punk and Black Sabbath. They achieved two straight No.1 Classical Traditional Albums and were named The Best Selling New Classical Traditional Artist of 2012. This astonishing success was achieved by an order of nuns living a life in near isolation and of self-sufficiency in rural Missouri.

They have featured on NPR, USA Today, ABC's Good Morning America, Fox News, Hear and Now, and The Washington Times as well as countless other critically acclaimed press outlets. Acclaimed producer and 9-time Grammy Winner Christopher Alder produced the album. It has also been sound engineered to pristine vocal perfection by 2-time Grammy winner Mark Donahue
